Heavers Farm School was built in 1997 on part of the site of a large group of allotments which date back to 1914. The school has won several awards for it's modern design. Children from year 8 visited the allotments, took photographs and with the help of retired owners came up with their own ideas on shed design for the future.

Mrs Hyatt (Headmistress, Heavers Farm School) says,
