Home was
designed as a project that could combine a core of
professional dance with a large input from community
groups in a series of nationwide residencies. During
a Summer planning weekend and a week's research and
development a very simple framework of scenes based
on the fundamentals of a home - table, bed, bath,
sofa - were scripted and successfully put into a
rehearsal form.
It is
intended that Home leaves, in each of the locations
visited, a legacy of increased quality and quantity
of participation in the arts. 1st Framework and Green
Candle Dance Company are pleased to be working with
the Voluntary Arts Network www.voluntaryarts.org, in the realisation of these
aims.
